Membership

Our membership fees cover the cost of twinning with Marcq-en-Baroeul through our partner association, Les Amis d’Ealing: it is our membership fees and participant charges for activities run by our Association that pay for the events we organise. The Friends of Marcq committee, headed up by our president Sarah Kahan, organises events with the help of co-opted members for specific tasks.

Annual membership of Friends of Marcq costs a very reasonable £15 for individual members, £20 for families. The membership year runs from November to November, with the AGM held in November. Payment by standing order or bank transfer is preferable (see standing order form for bank details). Although it is still possible to pay by cheque, please note that the Association now incurs a charge for processing these. Once we have received your fee and the necessary formalities have been completed, we will confirm your membership by email.
